Raffaele Morelli, and his brother Vittorio, opened the Valparaiso Restaurant in Mijas, in 1984 and has created a reputation for excellent food, memorable evenings and great entertainment.
Beautifully presented international dishes, served in a magical setting with sea and mountain views from a flower covered terrace, has been the key to building a faithful clientele.
Culinary guide books started including the restaurant as a reference point for serious foodies and has remained there ever since. After all, the Morellis have been in the restaurant business for 45 years — remember the famed Barbarella in London? — they know what clients want.
Elegant, peaceful and refined, located between Mijas and Fuengirola, they serve the freshest produce from the region. With a complete entertainment programme including dinner dance, with nightly live music ranging from, flamenco and opera to contemporary favourites, Valparaiso always has something for everyone.

The Valparaiso is particularly popular for weddings and events, with a spectacular pool and seating for up to 300 people or smaller golfing groups with private rooms.
